The rains have finally decided to pay San Antonio a visit this week. It also looks like they will continue throughout the weekend. This may put a damper on some of your weekend plans, but there are still plenty left to do this weekend.
The second annual San Antonio Beer Week kicks of this Saturday. They are promising plenty of events for all you beer lovers and connoisseurs.

San Antonio Beer Week 2012
San Antonio Beer Week will be starting this weekend with a kick off dinner at Lüke’s on the 12th. There will be numerous events to celebrate San Antonio’s beer culture and promote our local brewers. Events for this weekend include: Directions in San Antonio Brewing and a nightly Best of San Antonio Beer Week Happy Hour.

Komen Race for the Cure San Antonio 2012
The 15th annual Komen Race for the Cure will be held this Saturday, May 12th at the Alamodome. This event raises awareness and money to help continue the fight against breast cancer.

10th Annual Jon’s Run/Stroll 2012
The 10th Annual Jon’s Run will be held this Saturday, May 12th at Breckenridge Park. This event raises money for the Any Baby Can’s Center that helps parents and families deal with the loss of a child.
