San Antonio is opening the streets this Sunday for everyone to come downtown to exercise and play.
Síclovía is a free event that temporarily transforms major city streets into a car-free zone for about 5 hours to encourage families to run, ride bikes, take exercise classes and just have a fun time together.
The city will be connecting city parks and local businesses along the route to host rest areas called Reclovías. The Reclovías area include free exercise classes, live music, bike repair tents and more.
Walkers, runners, skateboarders and cyclists, all can share the streets at the same time.
The event will be this Sunday from 10 am – 3 pm, along Broadway. Here are maps for both parking and the routes, San Antonio Síclovía Map/Route.
