The San Antonio Luminaria will take place this Saturday, May 5th from 5 pm until 1 am at HemisFair Park. Luminaria is a free event that showcases all different art forms in an outdoor setting and also at various indoor venues downtown.
This year visitors can take advantage of Luminaria’s mobile interactive guide, which will list artist, food vendor and social media information throughout the event.
QR codes near the artists, allow you the ability to visit the artist websites, read their bios and take a look at their Facebook pages. If you’ve never used a QR code before, here is a quick guide about QR codes.

San Antonio Luminaria Food
What would a great night of art be without some great food to enjoy during the night.
The Fund arts foundation is preparing for Luminaria this year with around 50 food vendors from around the city to help satisy your appetite.
The vendors were asked to provide a wide range of food genre for an expected attendance of around 350,000. This year there are eleven food trucks from around the city to help feed the masses. Each of the venders are contributing 25 percent of the night’s profits to the San Antonio’s United Arts Fund.
